Adductor Stretch - Sitting

Sit down on your stretching mat, with your knees bent and the soles of your feet together.

Place your hands on your ankles and rest your elbows on the inside of your knees, keep your back straight and and lift your chest up.

Slowly lean forwards and push your knees down towards the floor with your elbows until you feel a stretch of 7/10 and hold it for at least 30 seconds.


Do's Don'ts
  • Do keep your tummy tight
  • Do keep your back straight throughout
  • Do move in a slow controlled manner
  • Do breathe deeply and slowly
  • Don't hold your breath
  • Don't take the stretch too far
  • Don't round your back
  • Don't bounce to increase the stretch
