Abductor Stretch - Sitting

Sit down on your stretching mat with your legs out in front of you. Put the foot of the leg you want to stretch on the outer side of the straight leg.

Place your opposite elbow, to the bent leg, on the outer side of the bent knee.

Slowly use your elbow to push your knee in the direction of the straight leg until you feel the stretch 7/10 and hold it for 30 seconds.


Do's Don'ts
  • Do keep your tummy tight
  • Do keep your back straight
  • Do move in a slow controlled manner
  • Don't hold your breath
  • Don't push the stretch too far
  • Don't twist your back
  • Don't bounce to increase the stretch
