Abdominal Stretch - Lying

Lie down on your front on your stretching mat, with your legs together. Rest your upper body on your elbows in front of your chest.

Slowly arch your body up on your elbows and tilt your head up until the stretch feels a 7/10 in your stomach and hold for at least 30 seconds.


Do's Don'ts
  • Do breathe slowly and deeply
  • Do move in a slow controlled manner
  • Don't hold your breath
  • Don't push the stretch too far
  • Don't come up on your hands to increase the stretch
  • Don't bounce to increase the stretch
