Treadmill - Walking
Start the treadmill and select a speed that pushes you to a fast walk, the speed that is just before you have to break into a jog. On average this should be around 5 to 5.5 mph (8 to 8.8 kph).
If your treadmill can increase its incline then set it to 1 degree to emulate walking outdoors on the flat. You can also raise the incline more to increase the amount of effort you need to put in.
For good technique start with your feet; place your heel down on the forward step rolling through onto your toes as your foot travels backwards.
